Does this show remind anyone of The P.J's and/or Gary and Mike?

To me this looked exactly like Gary and Mike. Claymation on a nonsensical American road trip.

So I looked it up, PJs and Gary and Mike have some tie-ins, including the same producer. A lot of the writers, directors, and voices from Gary and Mike have had great continuing careers. But I can't find any connections to this show. So it's just curiously a rip-off of Gary and Mike, which was not a very successful show, so I don't know why they'd want to recreate it.

I think it's hilarious that half these threads are people thinking this is the "new" or "future of" animation, when it's just a carbon copy of a show from almost a decade ago.
