Anachronisms

Am I the only one who noticed that
• Arkadi's telescope and
• Grandfather's house
were several hundred years in advance of what the period costumes would suggest?
And then there was Katya's outfit — purely for the 14-to-70 male audience, I'm sure. (Very odd that she was the only woman in the story.)
