i mean com on some of the characters are so *beep* cheap specially zangief , bison and seth they use nothing but special attacks its *beep* irritating
the only way i can beat it is in easiest mode and its still pretty damn hard

I know what you mean, I put on easiest so I could storm through all characters to unlock Seth. But some of the guys (especially Abel) don't realise what difficulty they're on and if they decide they want to win there will be no stopping them.
Speaking of Abel, did they program the computer to only use that spin grab thing lol? After 2 fights against him I hated him for that :D

I put this game down back in like july after it pissed me off. Playing again tonight to try to unlock the ryu and ken fight video and I've played against Seth at least 10 times on medium one round and hes just impossible to beat. I mean medium shouldn't even be that hard. I already unlocked everyone except Seth which I don't really care about and its really pissing me off I had to find somewhere to vent about it. Previous posters were right Zangief especially is a pain and so are Seth and Bison. Seth being almost as cheap as Zangief. If I was a tester for this game I would've been hands down like "hey you know I've played street fighter since back in SF2 and Super Street Fighter 2 days and these three are really gonna piss people off". I know he's a wrestler and grappling is his thing but damn it even if you try to stay away he just does that green spin flash until he's in your face then continues to throw you three times and then you're dead. Seth even worse teleport grab teleport grab uppercut teleport grab sonic boom sonic boom match over rinse and repeat. It is freakin annoying and I can't believe I blew 60 bucks to be aggravated and now the games 27.99 on amazon...............sorry had to vent I'm done.

lol at this message, it has nothing to do with the game. you just suck, seths playing pattern is easy to read. as for zangief, yea hes strong but beatable exept if your a noob and fall for the same tactics over and over again.
if you cant even beat arcade mode on normal, then stop fighting games forever.
It's definitely not as easy as the Marvel v Capcom games - but a few of the fights were tricky. On Medium Seth has never given me a problem - however, and I have no idea why, E. Honda takes me at least a few tries each time.
I guess certain enemies are better aginst how you play. I'm more of a jump in with a med kick then do a crouched combo and some sort of finishing special move. Seth gets nailed by that every single time. E. Honda doesn't even let me jump in to attack.

to the OP, because the idiots who created street fighter are desperate to keep the saga alive so they put new stuff thats made the game from fun (eg. alpha series) to *beep* hard
sure it has its moments allowing for technical combos, and ocol looking juggles that help it compete with tekken.

I just played 'gruel' difficulty mode (hardest) to earn an achievement and let me tell you this, bison can almost kill you with two kicks to the head.
ex is stupid because its super fast yet contradits itself, what do i mean??
well look at this, if you try to crouch 'short' kick or jab zangief, he can grab you, or bison can ex 'knee press' you, you will be GUARANTEED to be hit, especially if its an ex move as an ex move is super fast
YET if YOU use it, eg. I did a ex hurricane kick, chunli low kicks me out of it, silly since hurrican kick is in the hair and THUS you can't hit low, and ex is suppose to be SUPER FAST right? I've even been spinning piledrivered when IN an ex move.
I've even thrown a kick out without thinking with ken, when bison was jumping, bison should at most blocked it since the CPU is cheap and always blocks immeidately, yet he went one step further by INSTANTLY landing and INSTANTLY ex'ed me with a "ex knee press", how unfair is that??
the new system has made me so frustrated and mad I now question old school stuff which has bothered me but its been on all street fighter games so I brush it off, but now it pisses me off, like 'how come they can dragon punch or eg. c.viper do a lightning upper when you're behind them' this means the character will rarely if ever have a blind spot
and I hate it that the fact they jump WAY over your head far away they STILL can manage a jump kick when they are NOWHERE near you.
p.s zangief has gone from super stupid to unfair strong, he can jab jab, low kick, low kick, banishing fist, if you retaliate you can't because he has instant recovery then grabs you/ultras you/or sweeps you.
his spinning clothes line/lariat....can even counter low attacks now.
I agree with the easiest still being D@mn hard because thats what I did and it took me a long time to be that seth guy I started sweating also.
