I have two questions about Chun-Li.

I have two questions about Chun-Li:

1.Is her father alive?In Gen's prologue he's talking to someone and he says "your daughter".

2.In her entrance movie(the movie that introduces the characters before they fight)her hands are on the ground as if she was doing a handstand.But then we see her(really sexy)legs up in the air and then they drop down and she lands on the grounds.Is she getting off some kind of a platform?I'm trying really hard to figure this out and have been getting nowhere.
