So, what happened at the end?

Did Joseph just send her into that building, and then call in an air strike? How did she find her daughter at the end. Where they both dead???

***spoiler****

I take it they're dead. The shadowy figure on horseback I guess was supposed to be Jesus but looked more like a silhouette of Ghengis Khan.

She meets her daughter in heaven because she is now a believer of god. She died in the explosion and Joseph did not have in his hands in the strike at the building.

The movie sucked so much ass...i knew it was going to blow from the start. But I was expecting it to suck so much. Thought a couple of bombs would blow up cus thats what the box shows. You know.

But nooooooo..... ALl I get is a lousy teleporting movie. In which a little girl somehow vanishes from a closed in bathroom with no windows. Go figure. And the dude on horse back look like a KKK member... And why were they blaming jews. What the fu8k did we do to them.

I assumed that she died and was reunited with her daughter. Unless I wasn't paying attention, I wasn't even sure that the little girl had died until I saw her coming up the hill. The bomb blowing up the building that the mother went into told me she died and then when I saw the little girl, I figured she died as well. For awhile, I was wondering if the Joseph guy was supposed to be Jesus. This movie was just awful. Sometimes if a movie is marginally good, I will watch again to see if I missed anything, but I never want to watch this again. Thumbs down.

I'm usually really bad at this, but I figured the little girl was Raptured right off - no other explanation. This was pretty quickly confirmed by the guy in the restaurant (?) Mom goes to cuz her ex had gone there (? again) who told her the kid was with God.

Yup, wakes up in the hospital and sees - had to be Jesus. I kept expecting a line from him about using his father's name. (Then thought "Joseph and Mary?!" - too creepy; they should have given the kid a different name!)

The lines from Revelations at the very end, on whitescreen/pre-credits - when most of you had probably, and justifiably, tuned out - explain the guy on the horse. In part: "I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True." But yeah, unfortunately pointy hood! (And *that* landscape = heaven?!)

My bad re her "escort" being Jesus. vhavnal nailed it, I believe; I should have checked his/her reference before posting.
