Worth seeing?

I LOVED the first Yes Men movie, but is this one worth seeing? My friend told me it was "mediocre."

reply

I haven't seen it yet, unfortunately its not opened in WA.

Bottom line -they've done some great, difficult, risky work in the past years. I hope people realize how much hard work it is to put together a movie like this. I dont think they have much money to advertise/promote the film which is unfortunate..

I say, "YESSSSS"!

Go see it. I did and was not sorry. I liked it better than the first film of theirs. I laughed right the way thru' this film, as did many in my almost-packed house.

I can't give away the best parts, but ... I'd like to .

They are such clever Dupers, these guys ...

Oh my god! Definitely see it, the movie is hilarious, (I laughed a straight 5 minutes during the halliburton scene) and thought provoking. WELL worth seeing.

I think it's actually much BETTER than the original movie!

I saw some great scenes in this one and it's also a good feeling movie. You actually think you do something for the world when you watch it :p

reply

absolutely! Although not every prank that they pull comes off, the overall feeling of the movie conveys the need for corporations with (in particular) shareholders to accept responsibility for the actions and problems that comes with such power and money and do something for the greater good of society. Whilst also taking responsibility for their own man-made mistakes.

I loved the film, despite not seeing the first one. Although I believe it has been banned from distribution I believe due to legal reasons, if you look hard enough you will find it. Or you can private message me and I can tell you where.
