This makes me want to be an activist...

Seriously, awesome film. In many ways, better than the first one because they actually point out their points in more specific detail. By the time the credits roll, there's this really optimistic tone that we really can change the world. And I love that.

I absolutely agree TonnerBell..I love activism movies. It's makes me appreciate the kids and college students of the 60's even more, I wish I was born in that era because seems we lost our spunk for collectively doing what was morally right.

Insert something profound here...and try not to fight about it..

just do it yourself; in your own personal life.
make the right choices.
limit your consumption.
and when you do consume, educate yourself on where what your buying is coming from and make the ethical choice.
go vegan
chuck up posters and flyers to educate and get people thinking.

you don't need to part of a collective. you can do these things on your own.
or even better if you could get a few friends together.

this is how we change things. the world is made up of nothing less than peoples choices. if people make the right ones then the world will be a better place.
not everyone is doing it i know but it's gotta start somewhere.
and even if no one else joins in at least you won't be contributing to the sh*t.

thanks for your time

No, capitalism certainly isn't perfect, but then what is... college profs who live out life in a classroom and not in the real world?? Capitalism is also certainly not the total answer. If you want to kill off a third or more of the world's population then abandoning capitalism is the way to go.

I guess I could live with a form of capitalism that is better regulated, lobbyism cut back to minimal levels, no corporate welfare, etc.
