I'm so glad this is happening...
Seriously, I'm really happy a documentary about John Cazale is finally coming out. I've always wanted to know more about him. Anyone else excited about this? When is it coming out?
You would be Da Belle of Da Ball

I just saw this today at a showing at the Sundance Film Festival and it was really wonderful! It was interesting to see how much this man inspired some of our greatest actors/actresses. There were some really touching interviews with Pacino, DeNiro, Streep and a slew of others, and all credit him with teaching them so much about acting. With his untimely death, the world really lost an acting giant and they don't even know it.
It is my understanding that the film was sold to HBO Films, so it should showing up on HBO soon.
God Im hapy tis is coming out too but im sure it broke Meryl's heart...
"If Madonna gets it, I'll rip her throat out!" - That's Our Meryl
I really want to see this. If someone sees that it is going to be available some how, please post.
shareHis untimely death was a tremendous loss to all who love films. Just saw the Godfather again on AMC and decided to finally research this actor. He only appeared in 5 films -- but what films they are and what roles he brought to life!!! Didn't know he was engaged to Meryl Streep and was close friends with Al Pacino. I feel melancholy at the moment, wondering what might have been if he had lived. But I'm glad for his body of work.
A special one-time showing will be at the Vogue Theater in San Francisco
Thursday, April 16 at 7pm

I watch it last week on tv. Great documentary of a great actor, so sad he could only show his talent in only 5 films...it´s really nice this documentary have been made...
Prostitute: What the *beep* are you doing?
Johnny: I'm gonna kill a bunch of people.
I saw this a second time today. He was a unique and incredibally gifted actor. I remember every portrayal he did even thought they were over 30 years ago.
