Well, I did see this title a few months ago when it was around on Netflix streaming, it has since been removed, sadly.
I found it so highly enjoyable I rated it a 10.
I did so because I saw it for what it was, pure GrindHouse grade fun romp
of over the top grunge and tawdry garbage. It hit that out of the ball park
on that scale for me. I like good grindhouse. I've seen crap grindhouse before.
I suppose it all comes down to what one expects.
I mean, I rated Kill Bill series a 10 too as I recall . However I do't compare
Kill Bill to this. If I did something silly like that, I'd rate this Nude Nuns with Big Guns title a 2.
But I don't do my ratings like that. If I enjoy the film and find it well done for what it is, I rate according to what is presented.
For an example of Grind House that failed with me, that I had hopes for,
Machete . IF I recall it I rated at a 4 at best. So, there ya go. It failed
for what they tried to do, for me.
Just saying, not all of us voting out here are trolls working for the companies.
As for the reviews, I tend to agree across the board here at IMDB I suspect
many reviews are nothing but company trolls. I have somewhat flawed method
of combating that.
I tend to read the reviews that are 6 star or below to get a better sense of
what is rotten. I think I average maybe 60 percent agreement after I veiw
a title afterwards, and that is being generous.
Reviews are often hardly worth the ink it cost to print them.
That's the way it always has been. Reviews by pros or amateurs, often means I will not agree with them.
Oh, by the way, most movies suck.
