Watching the loathsome Justin Hawkins being strangled offered some small recompense for the laughable acting in this film, from the husband in particular.
'Oh Africa Brave Africa'. It was... a laugh riot.
The acting wasn't all that bad, but the movie itself kind of sucked.

I don't know, the husband got what he deserved so I was glad to see that. He deliberately puts his wife, who has a history of mental illness, in an isolated house where she doesn't know anyone then gets people to *beep* with her to stress her out. It seems his reasoning behind this was to get a best selling novel out of her, take the royalties out of their joint account, then divorce her. She may have been seeing the future and he didn't count on that, but he was trying to push her into a breakdown. He may not have intended her breakdown to go as far as it did and he probably didn't think it would cause her to kill, but he wasn't bothered by it at all.
shareIt's been awhile but if I remember rightly he DID intend for her to have a psychotic break and end up locked up. He was playing to get full control of her money then leave her for his girlfriend. If they divorced he would only get half (at best).
