I just finally watched it. We all thought it was really good. I don't understand really why it flopped, or why there was such a negative vibe surrounding it. It was fun and entertaining.
shareI, also, liked this film! Lots of action and, at times, very funny! I loved how they did the "giants", too! Don't let reviews steer you away ... it's a good movie!
shareParts of it are good but alot of it is stomach churning.What really turned me off were the grotesque,brutal giants.Some of them could of been handsome,plus some females might of helped.I like the tradional story better.Even the tree and vines were ugly.Jack was sweet,but they could of done better with the princess,she was quite bland.I gave it a 6 1/2 or a 6 on IMDB.I was similarly repulsed by the Incredible Hulk in the lastest remakes.
