jack the giant slayer. jack is naive and/or like a frog in a dam. the princess is kind of similar or at least similar minded, except she lives in a vacuum, a royal vacuum. and jack lives/lived in a vacuum inside his own head.

to keep one bean for himself, cloaked and unknown, indicates: "don't go all in". a plan B is wise...! a joker up sleeve can be mighty useful.

"judging by the cover, are we...?". (the opacity of human nature&culture).

"there's something behind me, isn't there..??", yeah, a fat tailed probability distribution event :-] lolz.

the crown symbolizes tokens/cosmetics vs substance.

there is hope of merits of outcome in the movie, even if there is quite a bit of a very steep and dangerous type of social climbing that is necessary..!
and the merits, or rather the results, they seem kind of lucky, to say the least.

jack never hashed out any Bayesian probability implications before his quest :-}
if he did, there would never be this adventure in the first place.
