whats with the low rating?

ok its not as good as the first but its still very good. of course the voice talent wouldn't return but what do you expect in a straight to dvd film, i know that some of the characters act differently to the first film but that doesnt bother me as long as it fits the story. this is ten times better than most of straight to dvd sequels disney have done. i can only guess that people who voted havent seen the film or didnt like the first one. dont let the rating put you off you should watch it if you enjoyed the first or if you like family animations in general.

IMDb reviews and ratings are often confusing. I guess maybe Toy Story 3 and such have caused people to expect too much, even from something going straight-to-video? It was a reasonably cute film. The soundtrack wasn't quite as good, but on the whole, I enjoyed it. And I can live with a couple of minor personality problems. I agree that those who liked the original film will generally like this. The reviews on Amazon are a lot better - about 4 1/2 stars.

I agree. It isn't as good as the first film or the series, but it was a nice, cute film that didn't try to be any more than it was.

Here's the thing - it's more akin to the series than the first movie. Unlike an earlier poster, my 3 year old who's mad about George loves this one.

Using characters and the name Ted from the first movie but the voice actor from the series is a little jarring for me but my son doesn't mind...!

I never saw the first one. But i loved this one. My daughter loves it too and watches it over and over. There is plenty of charm in this one and seeing so many people give this a low rating tells me there are alot of critical and judgmental people in the world. Loosen up.

Agree...my kids love the movie and I do too...sweet movie with a good soundtrack.

I've grown to hate this movie.

My 2-year old wants to watch it everyday, and more than once if I'd let her.

She gives it a "10" :)
