Just getting over a nasty flu and thankfully started watching this just as the symptoms were starting. Had been wanting to check it out anyway. Someone suggested the US version to me a couple of years ago but that one just didn't do it for me--this one, though, I have laughed and cried and thoroughly enjoyed. Almost done with s2 and glad there's three more seasons to go. Watching on Netflix, so I'm not sure if this is edited for US audiences like most of the BBCA stuff is, or if it's the original UK edit, though I think it's the latter. Wish I could subscribe to original (unedited) BBC programming here in the states!

And done... glad it was wrapped up well, was worried over the last few episodes.

I see discussion of which trinity people prefer in another thread, and I liked both pretty equally... but I agree the writing kind of deteriorated after a while and characters weren't always well served. Casting was pretty great throughout, including for guests (nice to see so many faces from other BBC shows I follow). For all the sexual tension we got very little actual contact though, which was a little frustrating :)

Great show.
