Transfer issue?

The scene that particularly annoyed me was when the principal and step-dad barged in to the gym. This wold have been something that would have been handled quietly, not out in the open like that. Also, it should have never come to that point anyway.

How did this problem not come up sooner? What state just allows students to live with non-relative families far away from where they should be going to school? Also, the issue with the waiting list. If strings could be pulled like that, why wouldn't the rich girl's friend (who's family I'm assuming is also wealthy) have had those strings pulled so she could get in?

This movie was absolute crap. The main character was an unlikeable bitch, her friends were annoying along with the rich girls, not to mention all the blatant racism.
