How hard is crushing mode?

I have the Platinum, despite not having some of the multiplayer trophies. Crushing difficulty is, mercifully, not quite as hard as it was in the first game, and is certainly less frustrating than, say, Call of Duty on Veteran. I got through it without too much trouble, the key is simply patientce and to make good use of cover: never let yourself be exposed for too long. And when snipers with red laser sights are involved, always eliminate them before anyone else.

Not that hard. I completed this game on crushing, whereas I gave up on the first game with about 4 levels to go.
