Thoughts?

Quirky decent flick though....

Just saw it. Think they both looked good/look good. Yeah they aged, like humans do. Still think they're both very attractive. Silverstone 6/10 Garner 8/10 Wilde 10/10

Alicia has to be nearing 40 now, and she looks better than most women her age.

Jennifer Garner is still a knockout.

I don't get what you mean about them not aging well. Could you elaborate?

In re to Jen, I think they did something to her face for the movie... in the movie she didn´t look to me the same as when I see in her interviews, etc... For example, her lips looked puffier and frankly not very attractive.

Didn´t anyone else here think they made-her up to look a bit different, perhaps to better fit her character in the film?

As for Alicia, she looked the same to me except heavier. She was also frumpier looking than we´ve seen her before, but that too was prob for the sake of her character in the film.

What I meant was they didn't age gracefully(not necessarily ugly), esp. Alicia.... I can barely recognize her until 3/4 of the movie... probably cuz they didn't use any of em modern age botox or surgery crap - which is a very good thing.

Actresses whom I thought age quite well are eg. Julianne Moore, Michelle Pfeiffer, etc...

I saw Jen at the recent BAFTA Awards... and she looked better than in Butter.

I'm not sure you know what "aging gracefully" means...because if they DIDN'T use "any of em modern age botox or surgery crap," that means they're, in fact, aging gracefully (because they're owning their age). By getting botox and surgery for vanity reasons would be the definitive reason of NOT aging gracefully (because they want to appear younger when everyone knows they're older than they used to be, and they're not fooling anyone).

P.S. I was never a fan of Silverstone's. I don't even remember which movies I saw her in, but I definitely recognized her in this. She still looks the same to me (maybe a little frumpy, but that could just be what her role called for).

I hadn't seen her in anything since Clueless. She turned up in some episodes of Suburbia and looked like she had meth mouth by comparison. She really hasn't aged well at all. I think that's what the OP is saying and I agree.

I disagree, I think they're both still extremely attractive women.

Tough to compete with Olivia Wilde in fishnets though...

uhm... why make a thread about this subject? And why type "uhm" - it's so obnoxious.

They both look terrific so i'm not sure why you think they don't.
