Wouldn't Joyce Still Grab The Steering Wheel?

I will go back and recheck, but didn't Joyce grab the steering wheel before the accident began, because she didn't know where Phillip was taking her (Sylvia Sims 'where are you taking me?' just reminds me too much of Hyacinth Bucket drunk on that gooseberry wine sitting in that car while Richard was trying to buckle her in)?

I wondered about this too, but rewatched, and she grabs the steering wheel only after they see the accident ahead and Phillip begins to slow down.

So it could be argued that she wouldn't have done so if they had remained at full speed. Instead, with the accident ahead, he slowed down, and she behaved recklessly and used the opportunity to grab the wheel from him.

I wondered about that. We only see Joyce grab the steering wheel once. I think the producers would have liked to have displayed it all as happening a bit closer together, but I suspect it just didn't work.

In rewatching the ending minus the wasp, the furniture van is passing Karen when she looks back at the envelope, which isn't the way it is shown as happening, but again, I suspect it was meant to imply that the van was much closer behind Karen that it seemed, but the show just couldn't stage it in such a visual manner.

The whole point of the ending-minus-wasp is to show what would/could have happened had the wasp not been in Sidney's car. Everyone proceeds a little differently on the road; the red Ford passes Sidney, as does the blue Volvo.
