Has Anyone Seen This?

I live in New York where it had two festival screenings this spring. So far it does not look like there is a distributor for the film in either the US or UK.

just seen it - not sure what to make of it - the bit where she meets the couple is a bit weird - you never see the guys face and the girl just gets in bed with her?? i think it started off good but in the end it think it sucked a bit - the plot.

I saw it last night... Definitely not a great film but Isabelle's fans must see it : she is amazingly talented and - of course - gorgeous !

I saw this a few years ago and remember being disappointed for an Isabelle Huppert film.

As I recall, she leaves her relationship over something less-than-earth-shattering that might have been explained away. With no change of clothes, no money or documents she crosses borders wandering aimlessly, becomes a lesbian and having had no contact with her past, settles in, I think, Greece.

It made a better travelogue than story.

When I first watched this movie like a few months ago, I was actually kind of disappointed and I got bored during the movie. Like most people said, it was unsentimental, slow and requires patience and interest. But when I watched it again a few days ago, I was pleasantly surprised because I ended up liking it. I guess all I can say is that before watching this film, keep in mind it's a slow movie, nothing shocking or enticing really happens, and you have to invest into the character, cause basically at first, they reveal little by little about her and her past, and unless you are interested in the character and her motives, I doubt you'll enjoy it. Other than that, the rythm of the movie is very good, the director doesn't dwell too much on one part, the character is well-built and she has depth, the soundtrack is kinda nice, except some macabre parts, and the scenery is amazing. At the end of my second watch I was left feeling pleased and relaxed, that kind of feeling you get after you watch a sweet moment on TV or after you listen to soothing music
