Jamie Walters music career

I wasnt a fan of his (I'm a dude) and he's known as a 1 hit wonder(How Do You Talk To An Angel) so I looked up his credentials and he was actually more successful than I thought. His first album had a hit song (Hold On)and sold over a million and went platnium and his second album went gold. His 3rd album wasnt successful. That being said, comparing him to a rock legend like Bruce Springsteen was a bit much but I do get the analogy Adrian was making.

I didn't even realize it was him that sang"Hold On" I remember hearing that all the time.

I think he has it in him to be big in the music business again. His performance on the show last night was really good.

Yes, Jamie had pretty much a successful music career during 90210. That is why i'm so surprised many people don't know him. But I can understand because his music career basically came and went in the blink of an eye. I don't think he will ever sell millions like before but I think he should go the indie route and he could had longevity..

I honestly think he'd be happier doing the indie route..I mean he has a big family and a loving wife. It would kind of suck to try and make it back out into the Hollywoodlike MTV generation music scene with all the nasty stuff going on and all the touring..yes it would mean more money but things like that also tend to tear apart families. He's not an old man but he's not a young kid anymore with nothing tying him down.

Personally, I don't think that he sings that well, but maybe he just isn't my type or something.

I was really surprised but I thought he was great at the Mint. I liked the guitar, the music was nice and there was nothing wrong with his voice at all. And that's live a LOT of singers sound like craaaaap live so good on him!

I think he should write songs for other young artists... this might open doors for him to get his music out there and gain more fans.

When a guy like Steve Tyrell says you are GOOD, you've gotta have some talent. I've been a JW fan for a very long time, I hope his new CD comes out soon!!!

reply

I was never a fan back then, but I am now. The guy is talented, handsome and a fireman...how cool is that?

I think the indy route is probably better for him, or for that matter anybody who is over the age of 19.

I really wish him well. I had no idea how talented he is.
