Adrian is SUCH a big baby

1. He goes crying to his little sister (I think that's who that was?) who looks like Nicky Blonsky WTH???

2. "I don't think I need to be here anymore." He needed Scott Baio to beg him, then he "decided" to stay.

3. waaah waaah waaah

Sorry, I am usually more sympathetic but really, come onnnn.

It just goes to show anyone, and I mean anyone, can be taken down...just ask the Dixie Chicks and a few others mention-worthy.

thoughts anyone?

He's something alot of people dont see these days: An honest to goodness NICE human being. Let a dude EMOTE from time to time...yeesh.

That walk down Robertson (is that the name of it or was it Robinson?) was BRUTAL.
You could almost hear the crickets chirping - that would have been hard on anyone - I'm glad Scott was able to remind him about the 'performing for 500 versus 5 million' perspective. I think that's what convinced him to stick it out.

reply

Yeah which is weird because he is the only one I would have recognized visually I guess I'm just old.

reply

I totally would have known him. Come on, GREASE 2 is a classic.:)

He's actually one of my favs on the show. Very real, very down to earth, very honest.

reply

Sadly, the only one I wouldn't have recognized would have been Billy.

All of you posting in this thread are probably 12 AND 13!!!!! If they recognized that guy from the Grind and the otherone from THE HEIGHTS (which aired for one friggin season) then they should have noticed Adrien! VH1 told those camera guys to pretend they didn't know him because Scott and Jason knew how adrien felt about the possibility of not being noticed! He was in TJ Hooker, Bachelor Party, and Grease 2! Far better to remember him than the Heights and MTV the Grind!

reply

1. I remember him...that's not what I was saying
2. I am not 12-13...believe me

I wouldn't have recognized Billy or David. I don't see how they didn't recognize Adrian, though. He still looks exactly the same!

reply

Honestly, when I first saw the preview I didn't know who Billy was & I didn't recognize Jeremy or David seeing as I ultra rarely watched Baywatch. But I immediately recognized Adrian, Christopher, Jamie & Eric.

I would have definitely recognized Adrien, even my 17 yr. old daughter knows his face from Grease 2, geez. I felt bad for the guy, the papparazzi were idiots on that job.

reply

Uh, no, it wasn't his little sister. It was Marissa Winokur, who won a Tony for Hairspray on Broadway.

reply

^Yeah, thats the chick on one of those comedian commentary shows where they made fun of her giving the same speech that year when she won her Hairspray awards.

NO he is not. He is HUMAN and a sweet guy. This is tough stuff. If you notice most episodes he is the one dissipating tension and helping the guys find positive solutions.

reply

1. They're all babies in one way or the other

2. Paps are so stupid they often don't recognize current stars. I think Adrian's problem is even though he was more famous than the other guys back in his day, he doesn't look like a celebrity anymore, not that there's anything wrong with that. He seems like a nice enough fellow. I definitely would have recognized him before the younger guys.

3. It's too bad Chris missed this challenge. He's the biggest "star" of all of them. It would have been interesting to see what would have happened with him.

I've been a fan of Adrian's for a long time, so I'm admittedly biased, but the point I took from the episode was that sometimes you've got to step back and take stock of what's really important. In Adrian's case, was he willing to play the game to get the fame? Would that be compromising what he believes in? That kind of issue doesn't only apply to folks in Hollywood . . . it's universal.

I thought the same theme was there in Jaime's case. The whole experience reminded him of why he left the business to begin with. He seems to have a pretty good head on his shoulders.

Eric also made the point that in this country we're sheep who live inside the box. Should we really be critical of folks who don't want to take the typical path or try things on their own terms??? This is a hard issue to wrestle with, and I don't think it's fair to judge the way a person works through this issue based on some edited clips from a reality show.

Plus he does not wash his hair in urine. So he has that going for him.

The only people who were stupied were the paprazzi for not recognizing him. i would have recognized adrian in a second.

So what would you define as looking like celebrity? Because celebrities look like any other person to me. the glits and glam is just a fantasy.

reply

I'm 19 and I honestly don't recognize not one of these guys. But from just watching the show I think Adrian Zemed is the biggest hypocrit. He whines about being in the buisness yet he's on a show that is putting him back in the limelight. The other waste of space on that show is the Eric guy, who is he and what is his claim to fame? He's way too old to be dressing and acting the way he does and the pee in the hair DISGUSTING.

reply

Eric Nies---and his claim to fame? He was on the "Real World"
