Im just curious to know why the drug dealer ended up shooting the younger brother. He got his money back, so what was his problem? Was it just because the older brother threatened him? I dont get it.

Because he was an a*seh*le.

that is the point of the whole movie. Play with fire you will get burnt.

Yeah I read it as he was sending a message. You don't want to get on his bad side so always do what he wants "or else"
