Ever realized you made a mistake

Ever realised you made a big mistake by agreeing to direct a movie that has no story or plot, just violence?

I think a few people are going to strike this "movie" off their resumes.

i think your the mistake this is a great movie Australia should be making more movieslike this in stead of the crap which no one watches

reply

This movie sucks hard, ever realized you made a mistake by even watching this piece of *beep*

it was a good movie, take it easy. australian film needs a boost and this will hopefully give it one. besides, most of the actors in the film probably only have this movie on their resumes to begin with!

reply

If you only saw violence in the film I don't think you put much thought into the message.

reply

I think films like this are too much into the stereotype. It is not as bad as that. I think Arabs are heavily atacked for no reason.

reply

I'm from Europe & I've yet to see a truly bad Aussie movie.
Fair dinkum.
Oh, and I'm old too, so, seen a LOT of movies.

Trust mne there are a lot of bad movies too made in Oz.

This movie seems to be made mostly for adolescent boys who like watching violence. And I bet most people who defend the movie are them. The movie was very shallow.

IMDB Dictionary:
Flick = Fun
Movie = Negative
Film = Will make me feel far superior than others

reply

Why are all your posts so pointless?

I for one am NOT an adolescent boy, I am not even a boy for that matter, and yet I thought this movie was great. How was the movie shallow? So you mean to say any movie with remotely any violence is probably for ¨cowboys that like watching violence¨ or ¨skinheads that like watching violence¨ (reference to American History X).

The movie had a good story line, and it is not shallow or cliche. I know many friends who have had smiliar experiences shown in the film, racism in school, interracial coupling, religious prejudice etc...

I don´t see how you can say a movie is shallow without giving a proper explination as to why?

Regardless, I still think you´re a douche.

Obviously never seen a film with Steven, Chuck or Arnold.
Watch a few then say this movie has no story, plot or message.

The OP has a right to his opinion, but I'm guessing he does not live in western Sydney or the outer suburbs of Melbourne. At the end of the day he's basically saying something like red is a better colour than blue because he said so.
Some people should just stick to watching Transformers, Twilight and the Fast and the Furious franchise and leave movies like this that require thinking and contemplation to understand the plot to people with a brain. I'm willing to bet my balls that the OP also hates "2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)".

The events depicted in this film happen every day in Sydney and Melbourne, maybe not exactly the same way, but the plot is very believable if you grew up in Sydney or Melbourne. If you didn't 'get it', maybe you need to get out of your bedroom once in a while and see what's going on out there on the streets.
