Any remarks on the Marshall guy?
shareI wonder what *beep* him up so bad. Guess alotta them had their reasons. Maybe one of them was having a *beep* name like Marshall. Who names their kid that besides my mother. :/

Marshall E. Mitchell (the E. stands for Ennis) who is a very special friend of mine and a one-of-a-kind person. I know some other great guys with that name as well, among them Marshall W. Gregory who taught me in a couple of college English classes at what is now known as University of Indianapolis (or UINDY for short) but was Indiana Central College way back then (I started in 1971 and graduated in 1976) and Marshall Chambers who was a campus minister and had a wonderful son named Sam who was three grades ahead of me (graduated in 1972). One of my cats (more commonly known as Felix) was named Marshall E. Midnight (E. standing for Ebony). He showed up on our farm back in 1985 when I met Marshall, and one of the neighbor kids suggested the name of Midnight for him, and I thought his name should be Marshall Ebony Midnight. Of course, we nicknamed him Felix, as that was easier to call him by, and also fit his personality. His full name also did, as he sometimes got this knowing, mischievous expression on his face like Marshall. All three of these human men--and my furry "man" who passed away in 1994 after being struck by a car--are great human/feline beings, so be proud of your name!
Long before the public had heard of Eminem, Marshall Mitchell's nickname (one of them, anyway) was M & M (just like the candy).
