haha i love your sig! And i know what you mean about her hair color. It is weird.. i can't decide if it's dark brown or red. But most of the time, it looks red. btw, i thought that was really sad how her husband couldnt' find her to say goodbye. But he found her brother? That's sad... it's like he didn't truely love her. Also, where has the actress who plays Leah been in? I've seen her somewhere before, she looks so familiar... oh well i'm off to her imdb.
also on another note... the brother is cute!! I wonder if the actor is Jewish? Great movie so far!

yeah i figured that out too. And she had snuck off to watch a movie that's why her husband couldn't find her. Are her and the doctor gonna hook up or what? It is taking forever... how long is this movie?

Lauren Ambrose the actress that plays Leah was in Six Feet Under so that's probably where you recongize her.

She looked VERY pretty and youthful without the wig. At least it looked like she didn't wear it from the formal tie event to the end of the movie...........

And I just have to add that Jake is gorgeous. I was like "come hither" while watching the movie.

Her hair kept changing because she wore different wigs throughout 90% of the movie

I'm glad they explained about the wigs part way into the movie. I was getting confused and thinking she was 2 different people.

She had two wigs plus her real hair. When Jake was in her room looking for an address book I noticed the wig he saw looked more red, but the wig she had on was more brown (although reddish brown). Although it may have just been the light that made it look the way it did. Obviously her real hair was red and much longer.

It is a requirement for Jewish women to cover their hair with either wigs or a kerchief.

It's a commandment for married women to cover their hair so they won't be a temptation to men. It's a sign of the woman's married status. Some orthodox women wear scarves or kerchiefs over their hair in public. Some wear wigs. Some very devout married women wear a hat or kerchief over their wig to make sure no one can see their hair. Men and boys have to keep their heads covered at all times as a sign of respect for God, so they wear yarmulkes.
