Whitneys Designs

Whitney isn't Marc Jacobs but IMO she really has a lot of potential to be a really good designer.

Eh, I'm just not really into fashion, especially high end designer fashion. I think its kinda bogus, its al matter of opinion and once someone has a big name anything they make is treated like gold when I don't necessarily see anything special as compared with designers who are lesser known. i think it's all hogwash.

Her collection is really expensive.

Indeed. Her designs are very cute and certainly wearable, but I wouldn't pay hundreds of dollars for a dress like that.

I went on her website and her collection looks very limited. It isn't that great and very expensive for what she's offering...

I think maybe she just needs to expand her collection a bit.

I think the biggest problem with her clothes are the prices. Her main audience is young women in their teens and 20s, and most of them can't afford her clothes.

And the older people who do have that kind of money probably don't even know who she is.

All this fashion crap is ridiculous. Haute couture is the worst, who would ever wear any of that stuff? Everyone makes such a fuss about it, it's art, it's trend-setting, Anna Wintour, blah blah blah.

I believe in looking good at all times, but to spend thousands of dollars on a dress, shoes or a handbag is fĂșcking stupid. If you look at photos of the New York fashion week runway shows, it's obvious there's nothing that hasn't been done a million times before in some way or other.

It's a waste of time and money, period.

Her designs aren't that bad, but not fantastic either.

And the prices are waaaay to high!

I would have no problem paying for a true Chanel dress (if I had the money), but not for one of Whitney's designs. She's a beginner.

She's no Viktor & Rolf, no Valentino, no Karl Lagerfeld, no Vivian Westwood. She has a long way to go before she is worth to be named in the same sentence as those people.

I'm not weird ... I'm gifted!
