What happened to the other babies?

Unless I missed it, they never explained what happened to the other babies? It's kind of like hostel, rich people will do anything to get what they want. I really hope this wasn't a true story,

No, they just never explained it. I would assume that if the babies were around in the house that the authorities would take them and try to match them with the families in the files. If they weren't there, then maybe they were already sold. It was a total loose end, and I don't think this meets the criteria for "its left to the viewers interpretation."

The clients pay for what they consider the 'strongest' baby out of 6 pregnant women previously chosen for the psycho couples to choose from. I assumed that once Beth became the sole survivor and the psycho couple got her child then the other babies were surplus to requirement. I think the Ms Sheppard woman probably killed them which adds another sickening thought to the whole thing.

Why would she kill them ? They are still valuable assets. But for a twist of fate, or luck, or circumstance - any mother could have won and made their baby the "prize" therefore to discard the other 5 would make no commercial sense. Ok, they might not be worth as much, but the babies of elite athletes and doctors would still have a value.

It's a small world when you've got unbelievable tits Roy.

huh?? babies of athletes and doctors?? what do you mean? these
babies were from the kidnaped women who happened to be passing
through the area. they were being sold to athletes and doctors
and russian mobster types, but why would they pay for second rate
mothers babies, I am sure they were "discarded" after the "games"
were over and the winner was chosen.

Sorry I know this is such a late reply! Just watched the movie and wanted to respond to your comment. The babies that were cut out from the five women were babies of doctors and athletes..the athlete was the woman picked from the beginning to kill all the other women. When her file was crossed off after she had died it said 'athlete' under her occupation. The doctor was the one who almost survived up until the end when she decided to do the surgery on herself to get the clip out.

They were probably sold to other couples who were desperate for baby. They wouldn't be bring in as much money as Beth's baby but still a lot of money. I'm sure woman in charge had a list of people who wanted to buy a baby at the "non-premium" price and had them all sold as soon the mothers died.

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.

Lol, I am sure it wasn't a true story. though it was based on some cases where babies were kidnapped for black market adoptions.
I agree, they should have made it clear what happened to the other infants, my guess is the evil woman sold them off to other couples since the babies couldn't finger her operation, unlike their mothers.
Also, the last scene in the cemetery was stupid too. After a huge case like that broke, all of Australia would have known about it. The woman kept files for decades so the authorities would have been able to locate the families of all the victims.
