one of the worst movies ever!

i thought this movie was horrible. absolutely horrible.

the acting of all parties was atrocious. i don't think i needed to see the same crappy film work of the killings in the beginning of the movie. poorly filmed and edited. i tried to sit through it, waiting for a chance for it to get better, but i could only sit through 20 minutes of it before i turned it off. i really can't say anymore without giving away parts of the movie, but wow. just wow.

i was very angry that this movie was in the pay section of On Demand. i actually paid money to see this. i called the cable company and asked for my money back. i didn't get it so i lost that 30 minutes of my life.

i'm fascinated with the topic of serial killers but i will never watch another of this writer/director's movies.

Couldn't agree more....between the way the story was advanced by the main actor telling the story, to the totally unrealistic setups of the 1 or 2 murder scenes i was able to make it thru, to the absolutely piss poor attempts of the actor doing the voiceover, to...ok...it was all godawful...not even the nude scene was worth fast forwarding to get to...absolutely dreadful

reply

Its just bad.

I made it thru 35 minutes, came here to see if it was worth finishing. Thanks board! Now i can watch something good, like "Gigli" or "The Room". BTW, i like bad movies, but this is just plain unacceptable on any level.

Son, you can't polish a turd

i ended up watching the whole movie. the guy who played Richard Ramirez had some good lines. but i hated the flashback scenes

the voice overs were good but the kill scenes had really bad looking fake blood

Whew this was bad. Uwe Boll probably could've done a better job with a cell phone camera. Did you notice that there was a Jeep Liberty, among other modern cars, in the 1984 scenes? Also, the 1973 scene featuring the supposed Vietnam vet was played by a man in his sixties. So he was a senior citizen fighting in the Vietnam War?

reply

never noticed the uncle being too old for Vietnam. all I pickd up were his war stories are part of why Rich Ramirez killed people

looks like Richard Ramirez is now dead

He killed himself after watching this movie.

reply

ive felt like doing that after watching most Ulli Lommel movies. this is one of 3 or 4 films i liked from him. only because voice overs and rants were put in

I can't believe Decades TV Network just aired this pile of dung of a movie. Horrible in every way.

"Don't tell me your little problems son, all I'm interested in is results."

reply

Sad to report, Decades is running it tonight.
I thought this could be interesting, I do remember the news of this case. I made as far as him being born in El Paso.

What I saw, as the OP claimed is true. It's crap. Even crap would call it crap.

I would think Decades would have better taste.

"You can run me, you can starve me and you can beat me and you can kill me. Just don't bore me."
