Disappointed

I rented this from a Red box kiosk. I didn't read the description, but rented on the basis that I'm intrigued by films on serial killers both fake and Fictional. I haven't seen many Manson family films, in fact I've seen but one. Helter Skelter and that was years ago. Imagine if you will, my surprise that even with Charles Manson/Ryan Robbins on the cover and with a title like Manson: My name is Evil. You would think the film would be centered on Charles Manson and his family. But no, The film fallows Leslie van Houten, and a horny 20's something. Had I known this to be more Black-Comedy than biopic. I probably would have never rented this. I was looking for something along the lines of Zodiac or Gacy. Those were both awesome films. Gacy's was a bit more on the morbid side, but both films delved into the minds and crimes of the John Wayne Gacy and the man (I believe to be Arther Leigh Allan)who is/was (Allen died in '92) What you seen in those, I expected that in Manson: My name is Evil. For what it was, it was okay. But but for what the plot read, the title and the cover,. It was almost like being a victim of false advertisement.

They changed the title and poster to Manson (from Leslie) in order to sell it in the US as they thought he was more famous and thus it would get people to see it.
