This is the most corrupt judging I've ever seen...

Ok cmon what are they even judging on they just hold up numbers and thats supposed to mean something?? It's like what are they judging the dances against, a Chinese 12 monk crazy karate more than dance routine, against basically a russian ballet solo???? It's like for the different styles people do good but they are different and how the hell are they comparing the styles? Just whichever they personally like better??? I'm sorry that South African solo was ridiculous and it got higher scores than some of the more amazing dances. Dance is corrupt for this reason, so is any "judged" sport. It's like cool some nimwit from south Africa thinks that dance is a seven and that's supposed to mean something cmon???

That Indian group dance was one of the best routines I've ever seen on a dance show. They got a freakin' standing ovation from the audience...and barely escape elimination. Tell me that's fair. >_>

I also can't stand how the Chinese monks were treated, esp. the soloist. Uhm, hello, they're MONKS! They are not trained to "dance" in the way that most people define dancing. They were asked to participate on the show, worked their freakin butts off, and are told "Well, that's not dancing, so FAIL." Horrible.

I would really enjoy this show if it weren't a competition. Such a shame.

I totally agree with you magong802, in fact I just posted something very similar on another thread. This show really would work better as an intrnational dance/entertainment variety type of show. There are enough "reality competition" shows out there. I do have to disagree with the OP about the South African soloist. I thought she was intense and beautiful, and I was shocked that the judges didn't score her low for not having "enough dance content" or something.

Closing time James...last call.
