This show is a huge disappointment- go read the threads on the NBC website- I am not alone in my thoughts that NBC made a huge mistake putting this show on...the judging is awful, and how on earth can you even compare the styles of dance??? Those that danced, that is...

I did go to the NBC site (to try to find out the name of the American duet's music) and read all those threads... and agreed with them.
I agreed with one so much (They should drop this and rerun SYTYCD) that I tried to register to second that opinion. But the board wouldn't let me register. Some sort of 'communication error'. Yeah.. right. They don't like what the communications are telling them.
How could SYTYCD be so good and this be so bad. I was yelling at the tv during half of it.

They try to make it a competition, but it's more like a talent show. Nothing wrong with being exposed to different cultural styles of dance.

that's the whole point. you can't use judges from completely different cultures to judge dances that are not part of their tradition. the whole idea of using judges is lame.
