Is college life really like that in US and in Canada?

Frat house parties every night
Sluts literally everywhere around the football players
Unlimited supplies of beer and booze at frat houses
Girls so superficial and easy?

Also why is football such a big thing again? Isn't college for academic studying? What's up with the emphasis on football?

I really liked the show but I think it went a bit overboard sometimes. Some realism would've been better so it would've been easier to relate to characters.

Haha I was wondering the same thing.
I know they love the college football, that's accurate.
But the other stuff!!!
I'm British, when I was at uni to be fair I did go out on the piss pretty much every night, and I was pretty good at pulling women, but it definitely took effort, not simply two minutes into first meeting them:
'I want to have sex with you',
'Oh sure ok',
like in the show!

No. And college football helps pay for an unbelievable amount of other programs, such as worthless liberal arts and crap. It's a multi-billion dollar a year sport.
