Good cinematography, different, original, cliche-less underrated movie

Movie hasn't got the fame it deserves...yet

I don't think it will. It been 6 years, its not like the old days where you discover films on late night tv or the video store and it gets a new lease on life. Dredd was a big release and is readily available. It was close to what people wanted for the character and it still did poorly, in fact much worse than the much maligned Stallone version. While I like Dredd, and was entertained by it, its not really ground breaking stuff. Perhaps if a series really comes about...and its actually connected to this movie...maybe.

Exactly Lord Bishop. It's been way too long long now. Look at movies like Austin Powers. It did poorly at the Box Office but it did gangbusters on video. Soon it got a sequel. Judge Dredd just never got any good word of mouth. I do think a tv series would be the next step for the Character. But no more movies. Just not popular enough. While I did think this film was better than Stallones, I still felt it was a bit weak.

this film is an absolute gem of a movie, loved it , its film like this that should make good money, criminally under rated.

I yearn for a sequel

Completely agree
Frankly im astonished that this got so little recognition and no sequel!!
It was a perfect actioner with a mean streak

I thought it was superb and a much more authentic interpretation of the British graphic novel than the 1990's Stallone movie.

Great movie, superbly directed. This has a 7.1 yet Guardians of the Galaxy has an 8.1.

Dredd should be a 7.7, GOTG a 6.7.

GOTG is one of weaker marvel movies. It's higher rating got me watching. Definitely not an 8.1. Going to rate as 1 to balance things
