DVD missing interviews

Everywhere I look there is a reference concerning the presence of interviews with WWII veterans throughout the film. However, I just finished watching the region 1 DVD of the film and there is not one interview anywhere. I checked the run time on the box and what's listed on IMDB and Wikipedia...they are the same. What's the deal?
