Bad choice for Cilla

I can't believe they chose Brittany Murphy for this part. She looked like a young girl in desperate need of a makeover, including tweezed eyebrows and less collagen in her lips and a hairdresser or at least shampoo. Not a fan of the acting either. As a Nora Roberts fan, this movie was extremely disappointing.

Not familiar with the book, but she was the best thing about this film. I rented it because of it's title shortly after she died.

I find the story a tad predictable, and most of the cast lacking. Brittany tho...she does well with what she's given, and I'd bet a lot of the *subtle* things like the scene at the test were all her own.

If she's not the character that's in the book , that's the screenwriters fault.

Murphy has always had big lips, so I wouldn't be so quick to say she used collagen.

Also..umm..she's a landscaper. You expect her to need a 'makeover'? What fantasy world do you live in? Or are you one of those people who thinks that looks are *everything*?

I'm no reader of Nora Roberts, but I thought the movie as a stand-alone was ok, palatable. What I did like is Brittany. Actually I like her better in this than in any of her previous flics.

yeah her sledging suks, but otherwise whe was much less childish than in all her previous efforts. I think this film gave us a glimpse of her potential for future years, which on this basis I was looking forward to.

And now her husband is dead too, that's meessed up.
