And this movie is like Gatsby on crystal meth. It looks like the entire movie was made in post-production. I'm only 30 minutes in so I'm hoping it'll get better but it seems like a migraine-inducing disaster so far.

The second half of the movie surprisingly wasn't as bad. Still really bad, but not as over the top horrible as the beginning. I think I read one review that said the director must have at some point realized he had to deal with the annoying task of actually telling Fitzgerald's story. One of the worst things about this movie for me was the psychotic editing style. Is there some reason why they couldn't hold on a shot for more than 0.7 seconds? I literally had to look away from the screen several times because it was physically hurting my eyes to look at it.
