help with pulling game from hard drive

OK...

I brought the content without XBoX live thinking it was a disc. I do not have XBOX Live but I took my hard drive to a friend's and we redeemed the code and downloaded the game. When I got home I re-attached my hard drive and put the GTAIV disc in. After the game loaded my "Story Complete" file. I attempted to pull the L&D but the game is not on my game files.

When I came all the way out the GTAIV I looked at my files on the hard drive there it was there! So I am confused - can you only view downloaded content thru XBOX Live even though it is on a hard drive or did we do something wrong when downloading?

You have to do a license transfer
