Best Rumble in years!

This Royal Rumble match (not the whole PPV) was truly awesome. The only one that came close was in 2006. Before that it was in 2003. I knew who would win so it wasn't that. it was just the athleticism of everyone, except Marella lol.

The 2008 rumble stank, BAD, I didn't mind 2007's, especially the end. Yeah 2006 was really good, as was 2005 and 2004. I didn't care much for 2003, but it was good, but I enjoyed Angle vs. Benoit more than anything.

Yeah so much atleticism, CM Punk must've went out 5 times at the end and came back in, Cody Rhodes faked a million eliminations, even the Big Show went over, hung on and swung back in.

Great show, rumble was great, the regular matches were ok, I didn't even bother watching Cena vs. JBL, yuck. I taped it so I can watch it.

My favorite part was where Orton just starts RKO'ing everyone in succession, then Triple H gets a Pedigree in. There were alot of great spots, but that one was best I think.

Oh yeah, the Great Khali completely blows in royal rumbles. He threw out 7-8 guys that one year, 2007 I think, but he's just not a wrestler.

By Royal Rumbles I mean the 30 man match, not the whole event. As for the Rumb matches themselves, 2005s was nto very good, 2004 was good but that knee injury John Cena sustained makes me cringe as I suffered a similar one. It's the most painful thing you can imagine short of being burned.

Yeah I was talking about the 30-man rumble matches. I had just mentioned that I liked Angle vs. Benoit more than the 2003 rumble match.

I'd rank 2006 and 2009 about the same. Tons of iron-man feats, I can't decide which one is better....

2008 started great (Undertaker & HBK), but just didn't catch that much fire later on.

You know what'd be cool, have a battle royal type match with all the living winners of the Royal Rumble match. Here's the list:

Hacksaw Jim Duggan (1988)
Hulk Hogan (1990-1991)
Ric Flair (1992)
Lex Luger (1994,co-winner)
Bret Hart (1994,co-winner)
Shawn Michaels (1995-1996)
Steve Austin ('97,'98,'01)
Vince McMahon (1999)
The Rock (2000)
Triple H (2002)
Brock Lesnar (2003)
Batista (2005)
Rey Mysterio (2006)
Undertaker (2007)
John Cena (2008)
Randy Orton (2009)

That's 16 guys, would be perfect. Big John Studd (1989), Yokozuna (1993), and Chris Benoit (2004) are the only deceased winners.

Out of all the Royal Rumble PPVs, only two have I ordered on PPV and watched live. Those Royal Rumble PPVs are 2007 and 2009. The whole story line with Chris Benoit not being liked by Paul Heyman back in late 2003 - early 2004 before Royal Rumble 2004, being that Paul Heyman didn't like Chris Benoit and put him in the Royal Rumble Match at the Royal Royal Rumble 2004 PPV as number one to make him suffer. I knew that Chris Benoit would win the whole damn Royal Rumble Match. That was the only Royal Rumble Match that I knew who was going to win. I kind of suspected that Randy Orton would win the 2009 Royal Rumble Match at the 2009 Royal Rumble PPV only because of the hype that Randy Orton was getting, but since he kicked Mr. McMahon in his head via a punt on the last "WWE Monday Night RAW" episode before Royal Rumble 2009, I figured that he may either be fired, suspended or suspended and/or fined and would be out of the Royal Rumble Match. So when Randy Orton won the 2009 Royal Rumble Match, I was kind of shocked but at the same time was not shocked, if you know what I mean. When Triple H, Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase, and Randy Orton were the last ones in the 2009 Roayl Rumble Match, I knew that Cody Rhodes and Ted BiBiase were not going to win the match as they were not material for main eventing WrestleMania XXV or for holding a world title and since Randy Orton punted Mr. McMahon in his head, I fugured that Triple H would win the 2009 Royal Rumble Match, but I was wrong. I wonder what is going to happen to Randy orton between January 27 (the day after "WWE Monday Night RAW") and April 5 (the day of WrestleMania XXV). I guess we will just have to watch "WWE Monday Night RAW," "ECW," "Friday Night Smackdown," and "WWE No Way Out" to find out what happends to Randy Orton.
