Why? Why in the name of all that is holy does anyone watch this show? WHY do you WANT to watch some fat guy eat? WTF!?!? Stop in to any KFC or Long John Silver's and you'll get to see it live! Commercial free!

I wonder the same thing. My husbands likes it. I think this show is gross. Food eating challenges and contests are disgusting. Maybe someone will die one of these days from it and it will be banned.
I hate all food shows that feature people stuffing their face like a bunch of pigs.

It's good to see others who feel this way. It's not just disgusting, it's a national embarrassment. I like cooking shows and I checked this out to what it was about. They had a few college kids in some "challenge" that entailed eating enough food to feed an army in a set amount of time. They actually had pails next to these slobs in case they had to throw up. I can't speak toward the whole series because I only lasted for maybe five minutes of this garbage, but I'd never watch it again.
shareI prefer watching him go to places trying out food specialties. Whatching him chow down on a 5 lb burger or spicy food isn't as appealing.

shareI've seen some episodes, and every single time I find myself asking "WHY would someone do that to themselves?!" Some of the things he's eaten left me genuinely shocked..and for what? A picture on the wall and a free t-shirt? I just don't get it..

shareI like it. It's easily relatable, because I can imagine myself trying to eat a stack of Mancakes, or trying to eat incredibly spicy wings, or any other ridiculous thing he finds. I also have gone beyond imagining it and have gone to some of the places and tried the food. The show is just dumb fun, nothing more.
