I agree, it could have been a lot more profound, authentic inheritance stories, estates and inheritance loans are far more captivating and dramatic. But The Inheritance (2011) is just capitalizing, like so many movies with "inheritance" titles, on a subject matter that interests people immediately -- inheriting wealth, millions, mansions, fancy cars, etc. There are so many mediocre films using an inheritance as a backdrop, when in fact it's fascinating subject with incredible stories, real life stories. Instead, script-writers and producers focus on weird plot lines and horror elements, or sensational elements, as in The Inheritance. Still, it was entertaining, but all of these movies using an inheritance as a starting point could be so much better just by focusing on real inheritance stories, believe me they are way more interesting than the plot lines in all these inheritance movies = family intrigue and drama, legal battles that are very dramatic, and so on. When I inherited a house, which was sold, and some cash, I needed capital right away and so went for an advance on my inheritance. I investigated inheritance loans with www.heiradvance.com and www.inheritanceadvance.com and also www.inheritancenow.com, and chose one, and got a healthy inheritance advance instead of waiting a year or so for probate to end to get everything. So many heirs want money or need cash right away and also look into inheritance loans, for both probate estates and trusts. The people that decide on an inheritance loan, or inheritance advance, surely have a story to tell. Inheritance loans attract folks who have unusual circumstances. You get a probate advance when your life is rocky. Inheritance loans surface the most dramatic situations. In fact, the state of inheritances in this country are a metaphor in a way for what is happening financially to most people in America -- very little cash and a house is left to the heirs. Sometimes a lot of cash, but for many the cash is gone by the time people pass away. But the human stories are amazing, regardless. Of course when there is a lot of cash, say millions, it gets more glamorous and interesting, naturally. But the human drama is almost always unique and many of these stories would make a great film. I suggest to producers who want to make a movie about an inheritance, to get a writer to investigate the real thing. Trust me, it beats the horror angle or the melodramatic point of view.
