So did she love Whit or not?
I missed the beginning part of the movie and am a little confused as to whether she loves him or not. Or was she just marrying him for money?

She definitely loved him, but Zoe found that Sam offered her things that Whit could not. There's the scene where she asks Sam to help her write her vows, and explains all the reasons she loves Whit-- you can tell there that Whit means a lot to her.
shareThanks. It's on again tomorrow so I'll be able to see it from the beginning.

I interpreted it more as Zoe loves things about Whit and is satisfied enough with that to say she loves him.
She loves the fact that he can take care of her. It's not true love the way Sam fantasizes about but it is a form of love which is close enough for Zoe.
