And that's okay with me. I've wasted that amount of time on other things far worse. This is just your simple, cute, sweet little, romantic comedy. Naturally not Oscar (or even Golden Globe) worthy, and definitely could have been made for a lot less $. I feel Witherspoon, Rudd and Wilson did well despite a weak script/storyline, and that's because all three of these actors have great comedic timing. Rudd, in particular. Would it be worth $12 at the theater, no. But as a dvd rental, it was fine. Those saying it was the worst movie ever apparently haven't seen many movies!

When I read the title of your post, I was just gonna be a douche and make some snide remark about how the movie is only 117 minutes...But, I agreed with what you wrote and I'm glad someone actually enjoyed this movie like I did. I agreed with most of what you wrote. The fact that almost every comment I read says this is the worst movie ever and the boards for movies like "Step Brothers" have comments all over it saying "best movie ever," really bugs me.

Step Brothers was awesome! I was laughing the whole time, still do even after multiple viewings.

My wife, who loves these little "romance comedies" hated this film. It kept going around in circles, like it was stuck in some kind of loop for a good hour of the film.
