Why did they use the music from the sims?

Is it becuase all the rest of the money went on the stars?

yeah. when the opening music startes i was like "Ow *beep* The Sims Movie!!"

I thought it sounded like the music from The Sims! Glad I'm not the only one.

I thought this too although it was decidedly different. As a matter of fact, the sims has music that sounds right out of a light-hearted comedy that takes place in the suburbs, which is exactly what I thought when I first heard it.
