George's likeability (spoilers)

I think we were but that was really disappointing. The poor guy was looking at 25 years in prison and he was already in his 70's. I was almost hoping Lisa would reject George just so he'd let his father off the hook.

His father committed the crime though. And it was his second offence. He shouldn't expect an innocent man to go to prison for him, especially not his own son.

Yeah but his dad watched them at the bus stop and I'm 100% certain he went straight back in to his defence team to at least get the list of safe-haven countries. In fact I anticipated him emerging with bags packed while they were still waiting for the bus.
