Just not that funny

I just saw this tonight, years after its release. It's a disappointment given the quality of cast. I think the writing's the problem; the jokes are very hit and miss for the first three quarters of the film and when they actually go to do what they've been training for, the terrible reality of the subject matter drowns out most of what remains of the comedy.

7.3 out of 10? I'd give it a 5.

Still, glad Riz Ahmed has moved onto bigger and better things.
