Whole is less than the sum of its parts

This was clearly written by a guy who's good with words but terrible with storytelling.

It was way too disjointed. I liked some of the stuff with Elektra and some of the stuff with Bert, but it didn't really meld together, and Holly and Bambi were completely in a separate story totally irrelevant to the main one.

It's got some humorous and clever moments but it just seems like a bunch of random events stuck together. I thought at times he was going for the feel of a porn film, with absurd situations in which people wind up having sex, but that wasn't done consistently, so in the end it was just kind of a mess.

You put way too much thought into a movie you didn't think too much of.
