What's Channel 5 UK?

I don't recall watching anything from them. Metacritic doesn't list this series, Imdb only lists 2 blog reviews. The show's writer has no experience!

It's the 5th UK terrestrial TV channel. It seems to have a soapy/reality TV feel to it and ironically(?) I only seem to watch the occasional American series on it.

Channel 5 was also launched by the Spice Girls in the late 1990s, and, as it turns out, was hard to receive on digital terrestrial TV for a long time when the digital switchover occurred.

Nowadays, it's just crap, and in the last 10 years has been in bed with the Tories and showing endless poverty porn programmes like On Benefits, etc.
