reply

I wish I had one to tell.

So hard to find.

reply

Well you have to make it yourself, Not hard...

There are numerous reports of DMT experiences on different forums on the web. One example is Erowid.

I like to think of DMT as the druggie equivalent of being a Jedi. Like you're a Padawan and the final step of your training is to make your lightsaber, only instead you're a druggie and the final step as is to extract DMT.

reply

haha, Jedi extraction is the best way to go. Combine your Jedi prowess with your high school chemical set = Mad Skillz!

on a serious note, i dont think the word druggie applies to DMT, perhaps seeker of the truth or one who chooses to experience as much of his/her consciousness as humanly possible. These chemicals and compounds were 'given' to us so that we may use parts of our brain that would otherwise lay dormant.

Experience all of the consumables that you would like. no one has a right to tell you what states of consciousness you can or cant experience.

In one word - unbelievable, literally, you try to explain your experience and most people wont believe you. I have experienced most common recreational drugs before, including some very powerful hallucinogenic. But nothing compares to DMT, it is a naturally occurring substance that is present in most mammals, specifically humans and also a lot of plants.

It is believed that because our bodies naturally produces the stuff (could be responsible for dreams and OBE's NDE's)that is why it acts so fast and the body is so good at removing it from your system...the high usually comes on straight away (if smoked) and is gone within 30minutes. It may not sound like much, but the trip is so intense you wouldnt want it to last longer, the first time you do it, it will shock you, there is just no way to prepare for it.

I would strongly recommend that anyone who has any interest at all in experiencing their own consciousness it its full glory, then try DMT.

No side-effects, no addiction, no hang overs, not one recorded death - Yet it is still one of the most widely controlled substances on the Earth. TPTB don't want us to open our minds, defy them at all turns.

I'd suppose you can have a "bad trip", same as you would on LSD, only much badder, right?

1/10

- don't worry that's just my signature.

reply

If I could speculate I'd say that a 'bad trip' would be equivalent to a nightmare (like we can get while asleep), or then again there might not be such concepts, as this isn't so much a recreational drug like many psychedelics - so all you'd have is the journey.

reply

I'VE BEEN RESEARCHING DMT FOR ABOUT 3 YRS NOW - when i say research, i mean reading about it. and from what i've read, the "good trip-bad trip" paradigm doesn't exactly apply, not the way it does to lsd. the dmt experience is (apparently) an overwhelming blast - it's not nessacarily pleasant. it's a seeker's experience, if you know what i mean, not a groovy tripping experience.

At least from the accounts in this movie, DMT seems like one 'drug'(?) that takes the user into such a spiritual awareness realm that it makes LSD sound like watered down whiskey compared to it.

I find the descriptions of the experiences on DMT absolutely mind-blowing and ones that give new meaning to the phrase 'inner eye / inner 'I'.

To quote Mr. Spock: Fascinating!

In short, its awesome. Ive only done it around 5 times though (smoking it). Its better to do a lot of it or you'll just get a body high with some hallucinations and wont travel anywhere. But any amount is fun, not sure if you can get bad trips but definitely exercise caution, ive only had a bad trip on shrooms and ive done a lot of acid. But everyones different, some people are more prone to them then others. Chances are you probably wont find dmt anyways, unless it starts becoming a trend or something.

I was sixteen and my boyfriend and I decided to pay the Psychedelic Church a visit. The church was located in a rundown brownstone somewhere in the East Village. A member of the church let us in and sat us in a room decorated with colorful tapestries and numerous pillows. We sat on the floor and allowed the "priest" to preach about the teachings of the church. After an hour or so of proselytizing, the "priest" brought out a bong and allowed us to take sacrament. It was the most vivid and vibrant psychedelic experience I had ever had and haven't experienced since. I knew at that moment that my boyfriend and I were not meant to be. As intense as my experience was, it was not enough to convert this stout atheist and have not returned to the church since. I've thought about it a few times though.

I've done DMT several times, each time the experience has been better than the last.

One of the most profound experiences is as follows.

I was laying on my bed with the pipe and my lighter, I started to vape the DMT and inhaled. I felt it start to hit me and I closed my eyes. I suddenly felt like I was standing in a room which looked extremely cartoony and was build up of horizontal lines.

Even with the cartoony appearance, it felt convincing and I had a sense of depth perception letting me work out a rough size of the room (it was fairly small).

In the room "stood" a few figures that seemed to be happy I was there with them. These figures didn't have a real 'physical' form as they seemed to blend in with the room itself, sort of like a chameleon would.

The weirdest part of the whole trip was I could close and open my eyes inside the DMT-room. It actually felt like I was closing my eyes for real as if my body had actually been transported to the room itself.

I almost forgot I was tripping and I opened and closed my eyes in the room, slightly confused how I was doing that when I knew my eyes we're actually closed in real life. I opened my eyes in my bedroom, then closed them and saw the DMT-room, then closed my eyes in the DMT-room.

After a while of just hanging around in the DMT-room with the beings, I decided it was time to leave, opened my eyes and let the trip end.
