Medical School??

It has always bothered me that the years don't seem to add up. In this installment, it is implied, at least to me, that Paige is AT MINIMUM in her first year of residency. Meaning she has already completed her 3 years of medical school , graduated and is now a "supervised doctor" aka a resident. Eddie says that it is one year from their wedding. Right before their wedding Paige was in medical school. In order for Paige to be a resident in this movie she would have had to completed 3 years of school already, meaning she was finishing or close to finishing her 3rd year right before they married. This would mean that after her college graduation in the first one she would have been engaged for almost 3 years before marrying Eddie in the second movie. This doesn't seem plausible. And since they are married only one year in this movie, you assume their honeymoon was 6 months or so after their wedding and 6 months before the events in this movie. From the looks of it Paige is NOT a student but rather a full doctor. This therefore means that she was almost done with school by her wedding, making their engagement 3 years.....which like I said is unlikely and doesn't make sense.

Well - you're probably right.

But - it's not a documentary, it's a fairy tale movie.

Movies don't have to make completely sense.

They need to be entertaining, fun, interesting - which P&M 4 is.

I don't know for how many years they were engaged, but it was said at the end of Movie I, that Edward would wait as long as necessary. Now, in Movie II, we see Paige learning already to be a doctor. And in some scenes, with Soren's help, she's prepping for her final exams.

In Movie III, they go on a honeymoon that's been delayed already for 6 months. At the end of that movie, Paige is finally accepted to start her residency as soon as they return to Copenhagen. Movie IV, is now another 6 months later, so Paige must be half-way through her residency by now. So, tell me, where do you see the time inconsistency?

I will not equivocate; I will not excuse; I will not retreat a single inch; AND I WILL BE HEARD!
