The dumb thing about Genisys is a lot of people would reject it. Not everyone wants their stuffed synced across more than a SINGLE device, much less dozens of devices in your home and at work. Unless it's the whole 'artificial intelligence' that people are craving to manage all of their content, but that too seems grossly irresponsible if it were to ever bug out, and in this case it certainly does.
